Some hunts only run once a year.

Why bother having seasons

A downtown is not the same place in October and December.

The route that works on a bright afternoon in June is the wrong route once it gets dark at five. Light changes what you can see, weather changes how far people want to walk, and half the things worth looking at in December are not there in July. So rather than run one hunt all year and pretend, we write separate ones and run them when they make sense.

Seasonal hunts work the same way everything else does — two hours, one to two miles, teams, a leaderboard, and a Clue Master you can message the whole time. What changes is the route and what it points at.
